What to Expect
The SCHEDULE will be posted in the "About" Page. Please click on the three dashed lines in the upper left corner to find additional pages.
OPEN HEART HOUR
A time where participants can open their hearts to the group, expressing needs and sharing blessings. This time lays the groundwork for the closeness and bonding of our time together.
A time for in-depth Bible study, led by Debbie Greenleaf. These talks will be held live and in Zoom, followed by time for discussion.
Zoom and in-person groups where participants reflect on what they have heard, share what they feel, encourage each other in faith, and pray for each other in love.
Times led by our Christian Ashram evangelist, Matt Henson, whose dynamic, bold, and relevant messages stir the soul and rekindle the fire of our faith. These sessions will be arranged in-person and in Zoom meetings and include discussion time.
Participants will sign up to be in prayer in a room set aside at the camp or in a quiet place in your home for half hour and one hour time slots starting at 8:00 pm on Friday evening and ending at 10:00 am on Sunday morning. Click on About for more information.
A time for quiet discussion of a specific chapter or verses lead by our Evangelist, Matt Henson.
Both in-person and Zoom small group rooms will be set up where participants can spend time with spiritual leaders to share concerns and be prayed for.
On Sunday morning there will be a time for you to share how the Lord worked in your life this weekend. You may either post your response by clicking the link below or respond in-person or in our live Zoom meeting.
Our youth program is designed for high school and college age students but is also appropriate for more mature middle schoolers as well. Students will have opportunities to participate in daily devotionals, small group discussion, and community building activities. Teacher Aaron will help the youth explore questions like:
How can I become like Jesus?
How do I remain centered on Jesus?
How does God guide us?
How does God guide us through our failures?
And how do I grow through failure?
Our Bible Teacher - Debbie Greenleaf
In 2002, Debbie started attending St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, in Boise, Idaho. Through their Mission Outreach Program and Centering Prayer, she discovered her calling to be a deacon. She was ordained as a vocational deacon on December 6, 2015. In 2017, Debbie moved to Sun City West, AZ. Debbie serves as deacon at Advent Episcopal Church. She credits her love and trust in God as the source of her strength and guidance
Our Evangelist - Brian Shimer
Brother Brian Shimer has been involved in the Christian Ashram movement since 1981. I has spoken at Christian Ashram events for over three decades as Jesus mightily impacted Brina through this movement. Brian loves leading groups in discussion God's word, and watching as the Holy Spirit brings deep applications. Married to Karen, father to four girls and grandfather to five, Brian loves his family. He is a writer, painter, swimmer, and avid walker.
We will have a variety of people and groups leading worship so that we can provide both traditional hymns and contemporary praise music.
We encourage you to share your talents during our Talent Show at 4:00 pm on Saturday. You are welcome to upload a video of singing, dancing, reciting, or playing an instrument to our webpage. In addition, you may upload photos of your artwork, photography, needlework, or other graphic arts in our Padlet to share with the community.
